Distribution Network Analysis and Management
Analiza i upravljanje distributivnim mrežama
How a distribution network is analysed and run, taught from the book Specijalizovani DMS algoritmi: load calibration, power flow, state estimation, losses, reconfiguration, short circuits, fault location and restoration.
Kako se distributivna mreža analizira i kako se njome upravlja, po knjizi Specijalizovani DMS algoritmi: kalibracija potrošnje, tokovi snaga, estimacija stanja, gubici, rekonfiguracija, kratki spojevi, lokacija kvara i restauracija.

Where to start
Open “Šta treba učiti” in 01 first: it lists the chapters of the book that are examined, and those chapters are in “Poglavlja za ispit”. Then the problems in 03, with the 11 short videos in 05 that solve them step by step.
What’s in the folder
6 parts, under the names they have on Drive.
Literature
01 - Literatura
The course book, Specijalizovani DMS algoritmi (409 pages). The chapters to learn are in “Poglavlja za ispit” and their list in “Šta treba učiti”.
Lectures
02 - Predavanja
The second part of the lectures, and a lecture on the reliability of supply and distribution automation.
Exercises and problems
03 - Vežbe i zadaci
Problems from the exercises (power flow, the admittance-impedance algorithm, reconfiguration, restoration) and one solved by hand.
Exam
04 - Ispit
The exam of 13 June 2020, photos of other exams and sample exam questions.
Student notes
05 - Studentske beleške
Handwritten lecture notes (66 pages ready to print, and 32 more), problems solved by hand, and 11 short videos of problems being solved.
Background from Power System Analysis
06 - Pomoćna literatura iz AEES
The Power System Analysis 2 textbook and the chapter on a power system’s basic elements, for the models of lines and transformers.
Good to know
- The notes were written by students and weren’t checked by the teachers, so check them as you go.
- The first part of the lectures isn’t here: those slides are marked as a company’s confidential material.
- Programmes and exam rules change from year to year, so check the current ones with the teacher.

Where I used it
State estimation, chapter 3 of the course book, is the subject of my master’s thesis.
